Every Muslim person knows
about the importance of charity in Islam. Charity brings humanity, justice and
balance in everyone’s life. It is the most important and favourable form of
kindness in Islam. In Islam, Sadaqa jariya
is a kind of on-going charity. This kind of charity brings lots of benefit to
the both receiver and sender. It totally depends on the individual who is
donating it, that how long they want to make a donation and in what form. This
being a voluntary act, should be done by individuals out of their own
willingness and not because of any pressure.
Sadaqa Jariya |
The voluntary act of kindness
In this form of charity,
donations can be made in the form of love, faith, and compassion as compared to
money. Charity means helping others by doing good deeds to each other and
keeping Allah in mind. Herein, charity can be done by giving a small piece of
advice to the needy or by helping someone for the future.
The main meaning of giving
sadaqa jariya to any needy is, you are reaping good rewards after your death. E.g..
If you put your time in teaching Quran to anyone, then you will be rewarded by
Allah every time when that person recites the Quran and knowledge shared by
you.
There are lots of Muslim
schools in UK which offer to teach about the Sadaqa jariya and how charity
brings humanity, justice and balance in everyone’s life. Every individual
should give in their time and effort to learn about it, and perform it at least
once in their lifetime.
