Islam schools emphasize on the teachings of Quran and include them as a curriculum in the studies of students. These teachings are important and acts as building bricks of character of the Muslim students. Islam suggests that doing charity and good deed is very important for a Muslim. The teachings of The Prophet also states that when a Muslim dies, the things that will be eternal after him will be the rewards gained through charity, the knowledge he has spread and the worthy children he has who will pray for his peaceful eternal life.
Doing Charity and Good Deeds
As taught by The Prophet, Muslims believe that good deeds done and charity work undertaken by them is a part of their religious practice. Such practice is referred to as Sadaqah Jariyah or ceaseless charity in Islam. Islamic college teach that doing charity should be included in the ways of living life.This is one of the reasons, they ensure to undertake such charity activities in and around their schools, colleges and homes enabling children and their parents to participate in the same.
Types and Significance of Charity
The charity work may include donations, sponsoring a needy, distribution and passing of the teaching of the Holy Scriptures, planting trees, helping in the construction of mosques and helping animals.Making sure that Islamic students participate in charitable activities, they promote students to do such acts and enlighten them of different facts related to it. After performing religious activities, Hasanatis also brought to a true Muslim. Hasanat in simple terms means reward or credit one gain by doing charity work and good deeds.
